Works with two link types: a plain "/maps/dir/" link, or — better for a route you hand-shaped by dragging — the full address-bar URL after building it (contains "/maps/place/…/data="). The dragged version captures your exact path anchors so the GPX follows the route you shaped, not Google's default. Must be the expanded URL, not a shortened goo.gl link.
First line = start, last line = end. Any number of stops — routes over ~25 points auto-split into linked legs, no gap in the audio cues.
If two turns are closer together than the pre-alert distance, Skyline skips the early "coming up" call for the second one automatically, so they don't overlap. Phone GPS is typically accurate to 15–30 ft — if you blow through a turn, the route recalculates on its own.
Open a .gpx file and just follow the line with a live dot — no Google rebuild, no waypoint limit. Turn cues play if the file has them (Skyline's own exports do); otherwise Skyline reads the track's shape and calls turns from the geometry.
Lets you pick a GPX straight from Drive. Needs an OAuth Client ID (Web application) with this site as an authorized JavaScript origin, plus Drive API + Picker API enabled. Saved on this device — forget it.
